Letter to the Future
Dear people of the future, my name is Lauren Vickers, I am 15 years old and I am the middle of my two siblings. I live in Blackville, New Brunswick at attend a k-12 school just two minutes away from my house. Blackville is a very small community where you know everyone and everyone knows you which can sometimes be very irritating.
In our time which by the time you read this will be 100 years ago, the majority of people and especially teenagers use acronyms like lol (laugh out loud), omg (oh my god),idk (i don't know) etc. One of the biggest news stories that happened over the past decade was probably the terrorist attack on the twin towers (New York) also known as 9/11. This was and still is one of the most known events and is known world wide. The Boston Bombing was also a major news story which began on April 15, 2013, when two pressure cooker bombs exploded during the Boston marathon killing 3 people and injuring a significant amount of others. these are just a few of the major things that have happened in this time, I hope you enjoy the future and reading this letter, Lauren.
