For my "How To" article I have chosen to do it on "How to Clean the Grill at Hooked and Cooked". I have chosen to do this basically because it is something I am an expert on because I do it on a weekly basis, and I also enjoy doing it. This article will benefit you if you do or plan on ever working at a restaurant, it will help you so that if you cook on a clean grill your food will taste much better and also this article will be done in just 4 easy steps that will be fairly simple to follow. The following is a step by step walk through of the process and it will also provide a very helpful tip at the end.
Step #1- For step #1 you will first need to have a grill scrapper, preferably will a fairly sharp edge that you will begin gliding across the grill from left to right in single strips starting across the grill and begin pulling toward yourself into the grease holder.
Step #2- Once the base of the grill is stripped from left to right from grease you may want to go over it again to be sure that you have got it as clean as possible for the best results.
Step #3- Now that you have gotten the grill as clean as you can you will now need to use your grill scrapper (used in step #1). Take the grease that you placed into the grease holder and glide your scrapper now from right to left into the hole at the far left side of the grill which will now hold the left over grease that you have just scrapped off of the grill.
Step #4- Now you have the major part of this process completed. For the best results possible you may wants to quickly repeat this process again to make the grill perform at its best.
Tips- One very important tip that I strongly suggest doing while cleaning the grill is to be sure that you do not burn your knuckles or hand. You may want to be very cautious of this because it is very likely to occur if you are not careful.
